SAFE is the ultimate tool for designing concrete floor and foundation systems. From framing layout all the way through to detail drawing production, SAFE integrates every aspect of the engineering design process in one easy and intuitive environment. SAFE provides unmatched benefits to the engineer with its truly unique combination of power, comprehensive capabilities, and ease-of-use.

SAFE couples powerful object-based modeling tools with an intuitive graphical interface, allowing the quick and efficient modeling of slabs of regular or arbitrary geometry with openings, drop panels, post-tensioning, ribs, edge beams, and slip joints, supported by columns, walls, or soil.

Design is seamlessly integrated with the modeling and analysis, and provides comprehensive reporting of the required reinforcement calculated based on a chosen design code. Detailed drawings may be produced effortlessly for slabs and beams designed using SAFE.

SAFE may be used as a stand-alone application, or may be used in conjunction with ETABS or SAP2000 to complete analysis, design, and detailing of concrete floor plates created in ETABS or SAP2000.

Why Safe?

Full compliance to Eurocodes, and other major international design codes

Full Compliance to Eurocodes with Singapore National Annex, and major international design codes for concrete, steel, and composite sections.

Save time with our blazing fast solver

Blazing fast SAPFire engine can perform complex analysis in a fraction of time.

Analyse and design wide range of floor and foundation systems

Flat slabs with or without perimeter beams
Slabs with post-tensioning tendons
One way or two way slabs
Waffle or ribbed slabs
Spread or combined footings
Pile caps

Mat/Raft foundation supported by soil and/or piles.

Automatic floor meshing

Automatic object based meshing for floors based on specified maximum element size which can be parallel or perpendicular to grid system or elements’ local axis.

Strip Based and FEM Based Slab Design

Slabs can be designed either by strip based or FEM based giving user more control on slab reinforcing design.

Post-Tensioning Stress Checks

Post-tensioning stress checks are performed for transfer, final, and long term conditions.

Dynamic analysis capabilities

Dynamic analysis of floor systems and foundations by exporting response spectrum analysis results from ETABS or SAP2000 to SAFE.

BIM integration

Direct two-way integration with BIM system such as Revit and Tekla Structures.

Generate drawings and details easily

Drawing generation which includes reinforcement detailing for beams, slabs, foundations, post-tensioning tendon layout & elevations, rebar schedules, and material quantity take-offs.
