Otte Academy Pilot Learning Series: Hands-On Nutrition Workshop
INTRODUCTION
This workshop is part of Otte’s pilot learning initiative to broaden its adult education and workplace capability programmes beyond technical engineering training. Through this pilot series, Otte is building an Associate Educator panel and exploring practical, evidence-informed courses in wellbeing, resilience, leadership, communication, and workplace effectiveness.
While Otte Group remains focused on engineering software, technical training, and built environment capability development, Otte Academy will serve as our dedicated learning platform for future adult education and WSQ-aligned programmes.
Stress is increasingly affecting educators, parents, and working professionals. Research shows that nutrition plays a direct role in how we think, feel, and respond to stress through the Mind–Gut–Cortisol connection.
Diets rich in whole, gut-supportive foods are associated with improved emotional regulation, steadier energy, sharper focus, and greater resilience. Understanding how nutrition influences cortisol equips individuals with practical strategies to remain calm, focused, and effective in demanding environments.
This 7-hour workshop, with hands-on meal preparation and practical activities, translates current science into simple, practical, and sustainable nutrition strategies to support mental wellbeing at work and at home.
